Re: EmuTOS + non-TOS partitions = pain

I've now pushed a fix for this to the repository. You can test it with emutos.prg to make sure it works for you, before you burn another EPROM.
Thanks for the report!

Re: EmuTOS + non-TOS partitions = pain

The partiton ID is "OOP". I do hate the HDDRUTIL interface. You can tell that it's designed by an engineer and not someone versed in UI design. You can never tell if you're going to accidentally change something and break things. Give me the ICD utils or AHDI any day. Thanks! When I looked at the S...

Re: EmuTOS + non-TOS partitions = pain

I'd like to verify the partition id of the Spectre GCR partition. Can you post a screenshot of HDDRUTIL showing the partitions on the drive in question? I can't tell you exactly which HDDRUTIL menu item to use, since it varies depending on the version of HDDRIVER you're using.

Thanks!

Re: EmuTOS 1.0

Ok, let me untangle some possible misunderstandings here. Oh wow, this is really good! I never thought of using EmuTOS on my real machines before, but now I can't wait to start playing with it! Thanks for such a great explanation. I heard I shouldn't try on my Falcon due to DSP issues though, could...

Re: SND Player now works on my EmuTOS setup.

As regards Medium and Low Resolutions. I find that if I save the desktop after switching to Low Resolution it will remember that when switching between High and Low on the video adapter. If I save the desktop whilst in High Resolution, the Resolution will default to Medium when I select Low on the ...

Re: Notator.

UPDATE - I tried it on my STe and it works! So now I shall carry on with my original plan. Sorry for the noise. Possibly the cartridge port on the 1040ST is dead, or perhaps it didn't like me launching Notator from B:. Since I only have an A: drive on my STe, I didn't have the choice there ... I ju...

Re: Notator.

I tried a version from the web and had lots of trouble. It was early days when I was building my setup. Turns out my version is pretty good even though it's off a 27 year old floppy disk. I would say if my version doesn't work then it's Dongle or something else as I used to use it on another Atari ...
