Re: My Amiga 1200 Case Project(s)
You can put together a pretty good Amiga keyboard ordering a set, and then a lot of individual keys from Signature Plastics, if you have a keyboard using Cherry MX switches. Here's my A600. The only key you can't match is "Help". Cost was maybe US$180.

Re: I found a G4 Mac (Installed MorphOS)
Nice - what G4 mini do you have? There was a "secret" upgrade toward the end of the G4 mini's life. Instead of 1.42GHz the CPU was 1.5GHz, but the bigger upgrade was 128MB graphics instead of 64MB. This shows up in system information but not is not printed on the box. You can also run OS 9 using a c...

Re: Mac Classic - will it ever run again!!
I’ve done a fair bit with Mac video on a SE/30 recently - I have VGA output working from a MAX10 FPGA. It’s easy enough to use a scope to count pulses leading into the start of video and then to sample the pixels on each line. My setup is probably non-optimal but I just buffer each frame and then re...

Re: What is Hot Snot?
Hot snot is horrible stuff. Can’t be budged when you need it gone, falls off all by itself when attempting to use it. And the endless string that comes off the gun is worse than having a crowd of hopeful spiders in your workspace. I stick with kapton tape

Re: 4 channel scope recommendations ?
I like my Siglent SDS-1104X-E, but I do wish it would not move when I push on the power switch. The second hand market in Australia is not what it is in UK or USA and good capable vintage scopes are just not that common on the 2nd hand market.

Are we 100% sure that is the real Stachu100, the one registered on amibay? I sent him more than AUD$800 for an 060 accelerator last year and received exactly what I expected. Could it be that someone is just reusing well-known forum names?

Re: TF536 doesn't _quite_ boot
OK I am going to leave that last post there but there's no problem to be found. The problem was that I swapped the 1k and 220R resistors on the riser. I can't even remember why I would ever have removed them now but they went on the wrong way and of course nothing boots when the board 68k is not cor...
