Re: TF536 on the ST

Might be an idea to run it past PP - maybe its an issue with the 030 in general? Doesn't he tailor the driver for the actual system? So it might not be fair to expect a driver for a standard ST to work properly on the TF536 (or a Falcon or TT even)...I know HD Driver is more of a 'one solution for ...

Re: Notator.

Hi Roger, There are some very helpful guys on the Atari ST Musicians Network over on Facebook - and one of them will probably be able to upload a digital copy of the manual for your reference. There is also a video tutorial for it which might help you once you actually get it started up...hopefully ...

Re: Life, the universe & everything...Atari (well, mostly)

The (supposedly) final batch of bits to build the two IDE boards arrived today...only to reveal that I've managed to order two 84 contact PLCC sockets to fit onto PLCC pads, not the through-hole sockets that I need to fit the PCBs... :sigh:  :headbang: :cussing: Oh well, back to the drawing boa...

Re: EORI number ?

And you expected less regulation even after "we" voted to leave the EU...?
Maybe this will be enough to make even GDPR seem like a good idea

Re: Plug not working mystery solved

Even I would think twice before buying that plug from you @exxos

If you didn't hate it so much, you'd probably get a fortune for it on the bay of fleas as an extremely rare collectable vintage plug... ;)

Re: 74LS244 Alternative pinout ?

exxos Yup, know that feeling well. It was so bad at one point that we were using wire-wrap for prototypes as it saved waiting for multi-layer PCBs to be made. Worked ok for low speed or simple designs but needed true power and ground planes for bigger/faster clock rates. One of many reasons why I m...

Re: 74LS244 Alternative pinout ?

@exxos No problem...glad to help!

At least some of the memory is still working...30+ years after last using these devices.
Numbering is strange though, you'd expect it to be a flow-through 241 rather than a 244.

Re: 74LS244 Alternative pinout ?

@exxos Maybe a 74LS541 is worth looking at?

Might not give you the individual enables on the different nibbles...
