Re: New STfm user for MIDI sequencing

:swave:

Hi!

See my other post & maybe give us some background on your previous musical experience etc. & we can try to tailor the advice to suit.

Re: What upgrades to STfm and which MIDI sequencers to try

:welcomewave: Welcome on board! Not many of the more powerful sequencers will work with only half a meg of memory (I think some of the later versions even recommend a minimum of 2M), so that is one upgrade that will probably make sense. It's also best to use the high resolution mode for serious work...

Re: This Is What Happens to Your Brain When You Declutter Your Home

Yeah, I'm trying to tidy up as sick of being in the middle of a bomb site, I can never find anything. Just adds to daily stress  I'm currently taking the approach of a slightly more organised chaos :D ...but no doubt that will change with the arrival of a fair number of defunct ST motherboard...

Re: How to remove 1040STE power supply?

I've often found that the left rear tab seems to stick in the slot in the motherboard so you have to prise that up a bit and then it should come out with a bit of a pull and some moving from side to side.

Once you've removed it a few times it seems to slip out much more easily.

Some point over the next couple of weeks I guess. I want to run them though the US cleaner first, but its busy with PSUs currently.
Great - probably want a PSU when funds allow (ideally to match the blue H4 board :D )...

Re: exxos blog - random goings on

@DoG Yes, they're heavily depopulated...though I'm sure they will start to appear in the store as soon as he has time - any ETA on that @exxos ?

Re: exxos blog - random goings on

Thanks @exxos

If I can't learn how to use my new de-soldering gun with all of those...then there's no hope for me!

(Some might say that is already the case   )

I think we could all do with more sleep!! :dizzy:
@rubber_jonnie
What is this 'sleep' which you all keep mentioning? All I ever seem to get at this time of year is a bit less ambient light & a short interlude in the birds' singing...
