Re: exxos IDE interface (untested)

A small update as not much Atari work was done over the Christmas period. Thanks to Exxos for sending the dev-board to help with testing this out. Have been working with Exxos on the PLD and other items and last night I finally finished off the wiring of the board and it is a lot neater than that bi...

Re: My own first ST project.

So this is what I've got so far: Screenshot 2019-01-06 at 21.15.15.png Next to learn what to do with bigger ROMS etc. might even order one of these anyway, to see if it works :) looking good. You may have the same problem I did with an ST in its case. You may want to extend the connector ...

Thanks Icky and yes that would be a good idea.

If you could share the library for the connector too that would be great, as I'll pinch it if I may :D
I can't claim credit for the connector as I found it on the web. Will find link and post also.

Re: My own first ST project.

That's what initially put me off but icky sending me the breakout board helped. Hopefully icky can share the brd files etc, so we can get some made. I want to design my own board in eagle or kicad after I've got the spaghetti version working. Btw, I put headers on the breakout board, so I can reuse...

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

I used 22pF on the new boards. It's been working fine for my machine. The best place to solder them in is underneath the 34-pin IDC cable pins - pin 1 being the clock, and any of the surrounding pins being ground. Speaking of the new boards, I have 3 built now (the shifter socket adapter boards, th...

Re: Project: HDMI/DVI out for STFM

Very odd.. Add this cap and I bet you be working fine... https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=330&start=270#p14777 Out of interest what value did you use? 10nF actually made the board not work - black screen. 47pF works fine. Screen is now stable on STFM. EDIT: Just tried the HDMI...
