TT PSU
Hi,
I am after an European PSU for an Atari TT or Mega STE. I think that Atari made these swappable from 220volt-120volt. don't shot me if the specs are wrong, just want a good working PSU for a reasonable price plus postage.
I live in Brisbane, Australia.
Cheers
Gary

Re: Falcon PSU making 'tsk-tsk-tsk' sound
Hi
Forgot to mention that it was all tested with the multi meter first to make sure it was the correct voltage first. Sorry

Re: Falcon PSU making 'tsk-tsk-tsk' sound
Hi Miro,
When I did my Falcon PSU's I got a ticking sound, Rob who had already done his said put it back into the Falcon. Put back into the Falcon turned it on it was ok.
So it could be that it is not under load when testing.

Re: Motherboard capacitors - which to replace?
Hi Mikro, Both Rob and I have both had to learn how to do soldering, when a certain person says they are going to do it and lets you down. ;) I should have taken up your offer, more fool me. But on the good side Rob has shown me how to change the caps on the Falcon PSU, and I have replaced the NVRAM...

Hi Steve,
Gary from Australia here.
Did you use NVRAM reset to set the NVRAM or other software, as the software I am using is causing conflict.
Cheers

Re: Newbe
Thanks for the hello people. Yes Falcons are really expensive here as our A$ is crap. We pay through the nose as we have to go overseas to source most Atari stuff. If we buy on Ebay overseas for more than a$1000.00 we pay import tax, I think it is about 30%, so if a Falcon is advertised here the Ata...
