Re: Floppy Drive doesn't do both formats, but does sometimes

Hmm checked the photos and although I fitted the bus resistor it isn't socketed. I'd be happy to socket & replace @Cosmic Puppet 's chip with a VL varient IC if he would like. Just message me Tone.

Re: Floppy Drive doesn't do both formats, but does sometimes

Sorry just got the chimes, oh that is strange behaviour. Frank must be right I think. His STFM is 100% serviced with all mandatory fixes and Exxos PSU. I'll double check my records to see if the DMA chip was socketed or not.

Re: Falcon maintenance

@stween

The fan is powered from 12v, but on most Falcons I work on I just wire it to 5v to half the speed/noise.

Also here is a recent Falcon I serviced, my blog might be useful for you: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3810

Re: BlueSCSI testing on Atari

I can copy thousands of files in TOS without issue, but if I use Kobald the stm32 locks up after a few hundred files. Anyone know why this might be the case?

Re: BlueSCSI testing on Atari

@rubber_jonnie on v11.04 right now, I know there's a 11.05 tho. It's only 7gb because I created a 7gb DD image on the SD. You basically just put individual image files on the card and it populates the SCSI IDs with them, really cool and easy to configure.
