Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

Just goto amazon and pick up a Sandisk 32gb card next day delivery for £10..... no stress then. You do realise you could use a bigger card also? Like a 64gb? It would work too. ps - it has only written 1 partition. not the entire image to disk. You should use a dedicated app designed for writing dis...

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

@exxos Press the eject button in the top-bar of DISKS to unmount it. Or press unmount/eject in the file manager.

There is also this:

The Plasma 5 applet Display Brightness Control solved this issue for me.

I installed it with this command:

plasmapkg2 -u risu.brightness.bar.v1.1.plasmoid
I can now change the display brightness from a KDE Plasma applet in the task bar.

Re: exxos's linux mint install blog

Oh you're using Plasma desktop environment? I think those options are only available on the default MX desktop (XFCE) Perhaps you need to do something like this for Plasma, ie; add a widget: https://github.com/davidhi7/ddcci-plasmoid But I'm not an expert on Plasma at all, never used it personally. ...

Re: exxos's linux mint install blog

Have you tried these settings in mx-tweaks: display-1-1.jpg Otherwise, there are manual ways you can script xrandr: https://www.reddit.com/r/debian/comments/1818pot/permanently_save_xrandr_settings/ It's also worth noting that other programs, like Redshift for instance (which can dim the display at ...

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

I'll try and shrink it somehow. By the way it looks like you've mounted the image (that's the 32gb 'loop device' in your image) Don't have it mounted when you're doing this, it'll get confusing. You just click the one above that, the 31gb sd card 'mass storage device', click the gears and 'restore i...

Re: Falcon Csync video fault.

@Roberto

Just do exactly what Exxos did in his first post, follow the photographs. If you get the results he saw, then you know what to do.

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

Please give gnome-disk-utility a try, that's what it's called in Debian. Try apt-get install gnome-disk-utility (it's called Disks) I use it for everything, my favorite imager/restorer for Linux. Pi imager isn't supposed to be a general purpose thing.
