Just like all but the very earliest TTs, they have just the PSU fan.
Actually I think the earliest TTs had two fans, the later models only had the PSU fan.
Indeed, that's what I said. :-)

If it's taking an hour to crash, it may be heat related. Not sure what fans the MSTEs have, worth checking they're running ok if it has them.

Re: STE TOS 1.06/1.62 to TOS 2.06 EPROM UPGRADE

I replaced the "resistors" with sets of three posts so that I could use jumpers. This allows an easy swap back to the original configuration without de-soldering/soldering.

Re: WD1772-0202 - overheats at 16MHz

Doesn't Best Electronics still sell them They still have them listed, half price when I looked the other day IIRC. (If you can get them to actually sell you anything)? Not just me who has that trouble then! Hehe. Brad tried to dissuade me from buying most of what I wanted and refused to sell...

Re: NetUSBee Lite problems on TT: Any thoughts?

My TT has standard Atari ST-RAM (4MB total) plus an Atari TT-RAM card with four 4MB SIMMs, with a 1GB Maxtor hard disk.

Re: NetUSBee Lite problems on TT: Any thoughts?

That would definitely be annoying if it were the case as I'd bought the Netusbee specifically to try to get an old MiNTnet working. Never mind. At least I can transfer games onto the UltraSATAN connected to the STE over the net using UIP.

NetUSBee Lite problems on TT: Any thoughts?

I've a NetUSBee Lite unit which isn't working correctly on my TT but is working on my STE and I wondered if any of you might have some hints as to where to look next. After cleaning the TT's cartridge port the unit passes the NETUS.TOS network chip tests and also passes HT2ENEC.TOS (seeing the corre...

Re: Speccy repair

If you're going to send it away definitely use Mutant Catapillar: http://www.mutant-caterpillar.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=3481 As for the problem, check all the resistors! I had a similar problem with my +128K and one of the problems was a resistor which looked OK but crumbled as soon ...

Re: NetBSD 7.1 on the Atari TT

Wow... 10 meg of ST RAM? How much TT RAM?

Still, nice to see a modern UNIX running. The X server will take quite a few days to compile. I remember doing so in the 90s on a Sun SPARCstation 10 under SunOS 4.1.x, and that took about 3 days.
