Re: USB Audio Interface

Yeah. I learned the hard way. I started volunteering for a studio run for disadvantage kids, coming up to 20 years ago. When I got there everything just sounded trash, midi would freak out etc. etc. I think the guy who first assembled the desk and outboard gear etc must have been an apiarist and acc...

Re: USB Audio Interface

Ah... Teac. I have a few of their devices, DA 38, and a DA 88, DA 20 DAT. They are good... when they work. No matter the device you choose, make a common ground between all connected devices. From the console to the recording devices interface, and back to the PC. Any bit of wire will do. The proble...

Re: Recapping floppy drives

GadgetUK on that there Youtube has done a few vids on floppy drives in general, he explains a lot and has been successful on many occasions. Might be helpful in general in addition to Exxos's thread.

Re: Mouse spare part anyone ?

This route will require you thoroughly clean the outer of the bushing with IPA or the like before epoxy would adhere - Oilite is a sintered metal impregnated with oil. Yo...

Re: A 35 year old Atari 2600 record just fell and not in the good way.

Apollo's vids have been good at condensing the info obtained by others. I have been watching this topic for a while. His previous 2 vids are also worth viewing regarding the whole TG thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e-H4sEHB54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX_BE7ICo44 He's also sceptical of...

Re: syringe gun

I know it's only been a day but how's it feeling? Does it have the issue that "sealant guns" (silicone, caulk etc.) have that one the trigger is released there's still a bit of pressure on the plunger causing excess flow? It's gonna depend on the contents viscosity a bit, granted. Looks dead handy a...

Re: Lost the content of an hdd, atari compilation gone

I know that feeling. I lost a few years of PC stuff a while ago. Just silly projects, stuff I'd be showing peeps when they came round to visit. Later they'd come back "Oi Neffers show my mate that tune we were messing around with..." Gone. There were many important things also, but the "fun times" s...

Re: TT030

Add CA401146-001 REV.H in your title. It may help somebody some day 8-) There's nothing I can see on the first board but if you find info, add that too.
