Re: BLITTER RE-CREATION THOUGHTS

After talking to Rodolphe we realise that the suska code won't play nice with external buffers  Wolfgang says the blitter is a "drop in replacement" which it is, BUT, only if using a 5V FPGA, which doesn't exist. Which means using external buffers is the way to go, BUT, suska blitter doesn't o...

Re: 030 exxos RTC issues.

RTC modules still working fine here. As to why they fail when the user gets hold of the things I have no idea. The guys who I sent replacement modules and a dallas RTC haven't got back to me, so that was a waste of time. So I will put them back in stock and mention they may need debugging in some ma...

My bad attempt at Random 3d shapes from the 90's.
I removed the stars and mouse off bit, would that break it (just being lazy in finding the extensions) though it flashes the screen white really fast then says "for without next" on the last line

Re: PCB Build - Progress - Post your Pics here :-)

Actually I don't think that's right... looking at the pins outs... viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1146#p9335

Pin 8 would simply be left not connected (its gnd), but it picks up gnd from pin 1 anyway, so the connector would still plug right in anyway..

Seems you guys are rocketing along with it all!

I'm going to send my board off to be assembled, see if I can catch up a bit as there are a few getting close to power up now...

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS

Going back to the images in my previous post viewtopic.php?f=24&t=46&start=220#p8057

There has been no progress with these over the past month :( So I am going to send them off to get the headers soldered onto them as I can't see myself getting time any time soon.

Re: BLITTER RE-CREATION THOUGHTS

Been routing most of today again.. got the caps on now. Had to go with 0603's are wasn't room for 0805 easily :(

Rodolphe will be happy with the JTAG header... Had a bit of trouble squashing it all in.. but managed it.

Image isn't with "filled" areas shown.

Re: PCB Build - Progress - Post your Pics here :-)

I wonder who is going to breathe life into one of these boards first. Atarian Computing and I have been discussing about how would we go about first turn on. Its that first flick of the switch that is the nervous moment. 50:50 for a totally black or white screen :P Plus 50% chance of some chip gett...
