Re: new PSUs in my Falcon causes video output to fail

Thanks for letting us know!

Out of interest, how long does actually take after turn on for the video to appear ? My 2 Falcons it takes three or four seconds before it comes out of reset..

Re: Suska board

Cheers Chris for all the investment you're doing into our community :) :thanksyellow: I'll second that :) so cool to see this happening, much of what Chris wants to achieve very much echoes what I would have wanted to see within a new ST motherboard too. But this time, hopefully a really rock solid...

Re: TT/Mega STE power supply headaches

Re: TT/Mega STE power supply headaches

I'll check the cap tomorrow... I hope I made mistake and installed wrong cap... That would finally allow me to enjoy my new TT... Also check you not put it in backwards... A guess also on values, is that is 10uF gives 2 seconds, then 100uF 20 seconds.. 200uF 40 seconds.. I meant on the "good" PSU d...

Re: TT/Mega STE power supply headaches

It takes about 20-30 seconds and PG magically goes to 5v and... TT starts (and works) perfectly OK. So the big question is - what can cause such delay...? Does anybody know what generates "PG" ("power good") signal (on orange wire)? Is it PSU or TT? PG circulates around C23.. if you put 220uF inste...

Re: MSTE PSU RE-CAP FAIL

If you look closely on the other revision you'll see that track is not there (ie. exact same result as track cut on older revision). I suspect the track needs to be cut to prevent ground loop... I've only ever had that one power supply personally so I don't know about any other revisions.. I suspec...

Re: BLITTER RE-CREATION THOUGHTS

In light of been able to use the Suska blitter code I think trying to recreate the blitter on a gate level is probably a lot more time-consuming than just using the Suska code. Overall I assume the code is compatible but once the new PCB is done, I can program it with the blitter code and then we ca...

Re: Suska board

I just purchased the Suska III  I think it will be useful for testing stuff out and ultimately making modifications as I will have a working platform to experiment with.. And probably screw it up totally  24-thickbox_default.jpg https://shop.inventronik.de/index.php?id_product=8&controll...

Re: Suska board

I seem to remember running gembench but I used a real 68000 and sure I got around 99 or 100%. This was ages ago so maybe things have been updated, I took each core and wired them together as it is in the ST schematic s. It sounds like what I want to do, but I will start with blitter and throw every...
