I Also found a VGA to D23 schematic which I'm going to try as my monitor syncs to 15khz

Re: Went shopping and bought an A500+ Advice please.

So I've ordered a GBS8200 and a 1mb chip ram expansion. The power supply arrived yesterday too, so I've just plugged it all in but have still got to make up a monitor lead BUT the Amiga does power up and it seems to boot with a disk that was left in the drive when I got it, so it's looking very prom...

Re: Went shopping and bought an A500+ Advice please.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will probably beg steal and borrow some WB disks at first, then go the Gotek route.as I have 3 or 4 of those made up for the ST already but want to get it working with original floppy hardware first.

Re: Nova GPU Case

Looking good.

Just an observation. If the fan is too close to the inlet grill it will likely bypass the card unless the air is funnelled towards the card somehow. Presuming the fan is supplying air and not extracting.

I'd put the grill at the other end so air flows through the whole case.

And yes, it was an STE which I was going to clean up and resell. 1040ste with 2mb.
So you didn't even have the illusion of choice?
