Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers

I have also joined but I have actually built mine already. I thought I had my 27C4096 adapter for my programmera with me but I can't find it. So I have it in my flat somewhare. Going to program TOS 1.04/2.06 tomorrow probably and have a go. Here is the photos of it with the mods done. I have ordered...

Re: Cartridge Port: Would a buffer board help with problems?

I'm wondering how feasible it would be to add pull-up resistors into the address lines on the cartridge. I've no way of making a PCB with a male edge connector and female edge connector. Could this work for you: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Atari-ST-cartridge-DEV-PROTO-board-Atmel-Microchip-Arduino...

Re: C103277- REV.2.2 (other)

That black wire is from factory. Looks like mine, but I got two chip TOS version. U12 needs a chip (SN74LS) and move W2 and W3 to the middle-right position. And remove W4. Easier to get TOS 1.04 on 6 chips.

Mega 1 to 4 Mb (C103277 Rev2.2)

Inspired by Troeds and Franks post I thought I do a upgrade on a deeply yellowed Mega 1 I got for 20Euro on Ebay as a parts/non working machine. One of them only had a faulty PSU. My Mega 1 has the RAM chips soldered as a dip package on the board. It's a C103277 Rev2.2. before.jpg So I bought the sa...

Re: Dual tos adapter - ube switch

Hmm... Reset is slightly different in STe and ST: reset circuit in STe C300780.png reset circuit in ST C070789.gif I think you referenced a STe by switching C100 and C102 in the other thread? What to do in the ST then? There are only 2 electrolytic caps in the circuit and they are the same size. So ...

Someone else reported the same issue some days ago, I suggested swapping the 2 capacitors around in the reset circuit to see if that helps or not.
Oh. Totally missed that. I'll check that thread then.

Re: Dual tos adapter - ube switch

Atari STfm 070789 rev D with TOS switch, 16Mhz booster and IDE board mini.jpg So the reset switch to change TOS version on the ST works. Well, sort of. Minor problem. Not really a problem for me. If I have the ube switch to run TOS 1.4 if works on cold and warm boot. If I have it on TOS 2.6 the col...
