Re: WANTED - MFM drive for Supra drive

I found this in a box of parts that I photographed to sell earlier in the week, but I think its an early IDE.?

EDIT: Yep. Found a picture of it in an enclosure with an IDE lead hanging off! Never mind.

Re: WANTED - MFM drive for Supra drive

Hey, no worries! Its going to be a while before I really need to use the falcon anyway. Having a new born baby has really slowed the small retro hobby output to basically nil. :x Well, look. I will dig the drive up in the next few days, I will post a pic here and if you think it will work for you I ...

Re: WANTED - Atari original injection molds

Im going to go out on a limb here, but where I work we have a fair size warehouse. We basically ship PC parts and refurb laptops. We have a fair amount of space that they may be willing to donate for Atari parts storage. If it comes down to buying the stuff and not having anywhere to store, then I c...

What in gods name? 3 years back I sold a complete night moves pack for that, and I think I got a fair price.

Re: You have got to be kidding me - c64 on ebay

@Mikro: Unfortunately, Im not great at soldering/mainboard repair. I sometimes get bits like that and try to coerce my work colleague to fix them for me! (Lucky I work in a place with reflow and SMT repair facilities). Anyhow, shall we start some bets as to how much that C64 will end up selling for?...

Re: Practical TT upgrade?

Well, yeah, thats the sort of angle I was looking at. The Startrack though, is: 1.) As mentioned above, impossible to find and .. 2.) has a 'regular' 56001. I was given the impression that putting a Motorola DSP on a VME bus was almost trivial. If thats the case, I was thinking of an upgraded, but s...
