Re: I think i blew up my Voodoo 3 3000 PCI

Ahh man that sucks. I have those days where you start out on a 5 minute project, in doing so break something and then break something else trying to fix what just broke :(. It's about that time I usually slice myself open on some case metal :s Then the little "sell everything but keep the MiSTer" de...

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

Ok i got my dev environment set up on my mac laptop. And i can start testing the driver changes now. Note that even with the allocmem patch i see that the dma gets asked to DMA to fastmem.. That's so weird. I was looking at your cdtv.device.asm. To me it looks like the DMA happens to the buffer "db...

Re: Confirming no compatibility with A570 CD-ROM

I did end up getting a logic analyzer and from what I can see between the A570 and the edge connector is that with the 030 the BR/BG oscillates a few times whereas with the plain 68000 it's steady and reliable. I haven't really worked out why. I'm not fully understanding it yet (and have had it all ...

Re: Software options to test load capabilities of a 030 CPU on TF536

See attached for a no-FPU version using POVRay 3.0, this should work on 020+ without FPU, takes about 2 hours on TF536 to render all the scenes. The script performs an md5sum on the rendered files at the end to verify results, if the system does not crash before. and you can find here Hey - neat id...

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

If you guys wait a bit i have been studying the CDTV driver and i'll be able to fix it eventually. What i really need is a way to reassemble a CDTV extended rom with a replacement cdtv.device so i can get to testing. If someone could find a way to do that (preferably with amitools) i'd would get me...

Are there any Australian users here that can re-flash CPLD's?
Yes but on the wrong side of the country. Happy to do e.g. a return express post satchel if you can't find anyone closer.

There's the Raspberry Pi flashing option too if you haven't seen it.

Re: TF536 on A2000

Hey @terriblefile - next time you do a build can you please include r1 firmware? Or should I physically bodge those 2x swapped IDE lines on my r1? (and if so which pins need swapping?)
