Re: kludge’s TF534 build

I'd check your solder joints on the IDE header pins - I've had cases where the solder mask was a bit iffy and you get a short to ground with some of the through holes. I'm guessing you've already checked over the cplds a hundred times? Why not post a close-up pic of both sides of the board - maybe s...

Re: TF360 Discussions

I think you'd need to run setpatch before cpu?
And do you have the mmulib libraries installed?

Confirming no compatibility with A570 CD-ROM

Not that I expected it, but I was hopeful that since the TF534 put it's RAM in Z3 space that maybe the A570 would work. Alas black screen on startup - at least with v2.30 of the A570 ROM. It is widely known the A570 isn't compatible with accelerators. Does anyone know what it does at startup that is...

Re: New Board TF536

Grabable? Yes - all the info needed is at http://www.amigaunix.com/doku.php or you just can grab my ~60mb ready to go hardfile for winuae (user root password amix): http://daleking.org/~dalek/amix.7z It does need commodore scsi bus (e.g. A2091, A590 or A3000 motherboard controller). On a real system...

Re: New Board TF536

For the TF536 I was also hoping for an option (custom fw is fine) to limit the RAM to 16MB. I believe this is the most amount of Z3 fast that AMIX will start with. Is that doable? 64MB on board is fine with me, but as you know it doesn't matter what you put on there, people will always want twice as...

Re: 330 disable function bug

Actually my bad - I didn't have the CD drive plugged in. Same results - no jumper no CD boot (and no devices in the early boot menu) - just sits at the splash screen.

Re: Please report TF534 Issues here

Okay, I think with MMULibs this issue is resolved for me. The remaining ones don't seem to be TF534 related: AmigaTestKit RAM test - I think this fails because CPU FASTROM maps kickstart to fast ram. The ram test then overwrites kickstart memory. Hangs in WinUAE the same way. I should have realised ...

Re: 330 disable function bug

tf330_2019_05_25_alpha.zip disable now working here too. Anecdotally I found out about this the hard way. Only just built my card last night and was trying to figure out why it wouldn't run. Turns out that 'Disable' on the silkscreen means you need a jumper _removed_ to disable the card - maybe it c...

Re: Please report TF534 Issues here

Interesting - I'll try and test today - I found this at the bottom of the mulibs readme: The MMU tables generated by the "CPU FastROM" command, an official CBM tool, are simply wrong if run on a 030 processor. Chip memory is marked as "cacheable", which is plain wrong. Already spoke to Michael Sinz ...

Re: Please report TF534 Issues here

I can also sometimes reproduce this problem on my card (rev 2c running tf53x_2019_02_18_alpha firmware at 40MHz, no FPU). There is general flakiness in WHDLoad games, even though Workbench is stable. Things like Frontier run fine, but F/A 18 interceptor does not :/ MBRTest-2 (Microbotics RAM test) a...
