Re: A new riser?

Last time I ordered 105 of these it came to over $800 and that's no pocket change. 105? My question is, what are you going to do with that extra connector left over at the end? Perhaps if you guys all agree not to order any more for a month or two the algorithm will bring the price back down ...

Re: A new riser?

Is Mouser the only place the risers are available from? Ive done a few orders with them in the past, fast and reliable they are. The 5650092-1 edge connectors are also available from Digikey, but the price is essentially the same. And this is new. They used to be available at Mouser only. Good to k...

Also the system won't always boot with an LC CPU, sometimes a power cycle is required.
All of NovaCoders games are compiled for FPU which is missing on the LC.

Try sorting your caps. The 1206s should be multilayer 100nF the 0603s should be 1uF X7R.
The ones under the CPU?

Re: TF360 Status

Other findings: My rev1s (masks 01F43G and 01G65V) won't run at 66 mhz. None of the Novacoder's games will run on LC cpus, including those that don't require an FPU (Wolf3D, doom) and that run fine on the 330. I suspect the code somehow tries to access the FPU even though it's not there. Also the sy...

Re: A new riser?

+1 for the 23 pin connector here as well. Although both the male and female connectors are considered to be rare it does seem that someone out there is still (re)manufacturing them as there are a couple of sellers in the UK that seem to have them constantly in stock. Individually in the case of the...

Re: A new riser?

IMHO, the one thing we need to keep from Kipper's riser is the 23-pin RGB port. Why? Because every single Amiga Scart cable is designed for it + it lets you use external scandoublers and commodore CRT monitors. With the rest go nuts... :D The only other feature I'd be interested in besides the keybo...

Re: TF360 Status

I was able to get the 360 to boot with the EC CPU.

Turns out it's an LC. This one might be able to do 75 mhz I think.

Re: TF360 Status

- Add .7mm to the edge connector which will make it a LOT easier to hand-bevel as we tried with the 330 (I couldn't get anywhere with JLCPCB, they keep not doing it). This was done i think for the 360... But JLCPCB made such an arse of the TF360 prototype im not sure i'll ever use them again. Usual...

Re: TF360 Status

Generally interested in the things that make building it a pain too. I have no general complaints about the current state of the 360, it's fairly easy to build. You have probably already thought of most of the the following, but this would be on my wishlist of things to change: - If possible, move ...
