Re: Tf534 problem with IDE speed

That's not a problem, most A500s have a 512K agnus.

What Classic WB you use?
And what kickstart you have?

I have 3.1 40.63 and Classic WB Full from my Amiga 1200 - now I install Litle we ill see
Try using a 33 MHz oscillator. You may be over the OC limit for the CPU and RAM.

ClassicWB is garbage IMHO. I really hate it.

Lads if I buy 030 50mhz should work 50mhz on TF534?
It's very unlikely that you'll be able to run at 50 mhz if you are using the spec'd 55ns ram. 40 is about the max you'll get out of those.

Quick update, my issue was with the cpu. It runs fine in a TF534 at 33mhz and is marked as a 50 but its obviously not.

That's for the suggestion @terriblefire .
Yeah, that's very common. I have a box full of 68030 CPUs that won't run at 50, no idea what to do with them.

Re: The TF1260 rev1 arrives!!! Oh boy!

So thats 5 working boards out of 5. Speed is still limited to ~75MHZ but i suspect that is firmware related. What do we think in general? Should I do a run of 25 of them? if there are any changes post them here and i'll do them while i'm in the USA. I think hardware-wise we are 100% ok, just rewire...

I think we’re good. Haven’t seen any issues with the patched firmware.
Does the patched firmware have burst mode enabled? if not i can go back to it
Um, I’m not sure, it’s the one you posted on this thread a week or two ago.

Re: The TF1260 rev1 arrives!!! Oh boy!

Tried OS3.9. The only issue is the exec.library. If the updated one is loaded, it reboots to a purple screen. However, adding SKIPROMUPDATES exec.library, then it boots normally. The SCSI device is not an issue (I don’t think), you just can't load the A600 version for some reason. Ok that indicates...
