Re: Limited TF536 Run - Sort of Sales (All gone)

Updated to tf536r1_main_top_FULL_PHASE_7 on the card that was working without issue on the original tf536r1_main_top. Still boots and runs but on initial power on I get a guru which then boots normally following a reset / left mouse exit. Some consistent graphic artifacts that weren't present on the...

Re: TF Riser Revision 0 Arrives

EDIT: Does anyone know how to (could they) master CD32 CD with Term + serial.device on it... just enough to interact with the Amiga Serial port if you boot from CD? I have a number of CD32 bootable cover discs here that include Workbench and serial.device I'll image one up and provide a link. EDIT:...

Re: TF Riser Revision 0 Arrives

Which variant of the ARM micro-controller did you order in the end? Was it the same STM32F105RBT6 specified for in HID2AMI?

Cheers.

Re: Limited TF536 Run - Sort of Sales (All gone)

Built this evening, unfortunately no issues to report as of yet but admittedly testing has been limited to AmigaTestKit memory test, Hard Drivin' and some Elite II (running for the last 90mins +). Amiga 500 Rev6A with 0.5MB Chip Only. (No Trapdoor Expansion Fitted). 'Light' A500 PSU with 4.5A output...

My time is definitely worth more than $1 an hour.
Agreed, there are far better things to be doing in life than hand soldering SMD caps on an industrial scale. I'll await the live stream microscope inspection reviewing the quality of the JLCPCB placement + soldering finish :)

Re: TF1260 Revision 1

I suppose there might be a trust issue here that the parts listed at https://jlcpcb.com/client/index.html#/parts are specified exactly as what they say they are rather than selecting from a wider range of possibly higher quality trusted components from e.g. Mouser. I'd be happy to take a punt on the...

Re: A new riser?

Had a look at the riser design in Eagle. I appreciate I should have asked these questions 24 hours ago but was just wondering the following pedantic info: Is the mix of 0805 and 0603 100nf caps unintentional or a required hangover from incorporating part of the HID2AMI design? Do you have the values...

Re: TF1260 Revision 1

If they dont... I have a contact that can do the assembly in Scotland.. Probably not as cheap as JLCPCB.. but since he was my Best Man maybe i'll get a good rate (probably have to do the setup myself). "Proudly designed and partially assembled in Alba" You'll be running out of room on that silk scr...

jlpcb only supports asssembly on 2 layerboards
They claim to do both 2 and 4 layer now in their "Assembly Capabilities" section.
