Your RAM IC's are installed upside down!
Ouch!, Yes you might want to correct that, perhaps I should have checked the fundamentals first before nit picking on the soldering details! :)

Re: TF536 doesn't _quite_ boot

Pin 29 on IC8 (mem chip upper RHS in the photo, pin second from bottom left) looks suspect. Touch that up and check again. If that doesn't help then reflow all pins on the four level shifters and the two memory chips. Failing that reflow the CPLD. Depending on your soldering technique the most likel...

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

Yes, order the V2 relocator, it is a better solution with less compromises. I was trying to solve outstanding issues but ended up creating another one with the V3 as discussed above. There is not much to choose between them, both will work but the V2 is smaller, simpler and cheaper. As long as your ...

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

What are dimensions of V3 relocator? What else is required? Those things wich are soldered to it? I have no idee what they are in finnish, or english. You seems to have CDTV, have you managed to get CD work on OS? The dimensions of the V3 relocator are 112mm X 46mm The V2 dimensions are 83mm X 46mm...

Re: PLCC to DIP adaptor - TF536 on A600

Check your email. BTW, the TF536 now runs on A500, A1000, A600, A2000 and Atari ST via various PCB adapters for each machine. This is gotta be the world's most versatile card ever, all we are missing is 68K Mac. alenppc You forgot the mention the CDTV.... and the fact that a relocator exists for th...

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

On a related note the TL866 programmer adapters for the CDTV extended ROM also arrived yesterday.

They seem to work well as far as I can tell.

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536

Received the updated design for the CDTV relocator yesterday. Solves one issue, introduces another. Seems to work OK though.... The problem with the capacitor sitting below the JTAG pins has been removed, however with this design the 68000 socket pins need to be trimmed above underside of the ...
