Re: Warp on a CDTV
@utri007 The TF536 works fine on the CDTV. Just the CD driver is unhappy. Otherwise it works perfectly. So why noone wants to build a bord for me? That's all I'm after, working accelerator. I don't care about CDROM as long as the main funtrionality of the card is there and it can boot from CF Buyin...

Impressive to see that they've managed to create something so offensive that it prompted you to abandon the CDTV in disgust!

Re: A TF536 Riser For The A500 and A500+
Ah great stuff, I've been wanting rom clearance there for ages. Not on rev5 motherboard though (the most common one). But it doesn't matter really, I always thought kickstart switchers are useless. The revision5 A500 ROM layout feels like it has been deliberately designed to thwart any attempt to f...

Re: A TF536 Riser For The A500 and A500+
Thanks for this riser @go0se I ordered a batch of 4 layer ones from JLC, and they arrived a few days ago, really work very well in my A500+. Really like how the ide port lines up perfectly with the expansion port exit. Have tried with a lot of different software, no problems at all  Glad i...

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536
Its ok.. I have an extra row between the TF536 ad the relocator.. i've also got insulating tape over all of the bottom of the card... It is indeed a rev1 which eventually i'll solder down properly to a relocator. Ok, great, I don't want to be responsible for breaking your CDTV, It doesn't seem to n...

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536
terriblefire I've just noticed a potential nasty issue with the CDTV relocator from the images you posted on the threads. If the JTAG header is populated on the TF536 then +5V and GND on the underside of the JTAG male header pins could touch on the metal cap of C163. I hadn't considered thi...

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536
The relocator is still abit high for me i'll live with it. Is that Rev 1 536 you are using soldered to the relocator using just rows of male pins or can the relocator + 536 still be separated? i.e. with both male + female pins/receptacles used? Using a 90 degree IDE header helps further with lid cl...

Re: CDTV Relocator for the TF536
That's the reason you just bought that spare CDTV right?terriblefire wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 11:33 amGrrrr. Started to get a dev setup working on the CDTV with the rom emulator and I’ve killed the bloody thing AGAIN...

What is the issue?
Re: NEW BOM
No sure if those are equivalent without comparing the data sheets:
I ordered the Nexperia versions from Digikey.
Maybe someone else who has looked into it can recommend a suitable alternative from RS or Farnell.
