Re: TF534 + Mem68k

Looks excellent! I'm trying to picture how you attached the relocator and Mem68k headers to the upper and lower side of the board. I assume there's a bit of a gap under those female headers on the top of the 534 to allow soldering access? Any chance of a closeup side profile shot and/or a descriptio...

Re: TF330 Gerbers leaked?

Well I'm waiting in the wings to buy half a logic analyser's worth of 330 PCBs once the new batch arrives...

I reason that TF is either going to spend the money on prototyping new boards or buying alcohol, either way I feel it's going to a good cause! ;)

Re: Trusted CPU Suppliers Or Ones To Avoid

Glad I could help, it's knowledge gained through bitter experience when dealing with eBay unfortunately. Thanks for leaving your original feedback and helping me avoid buying duds from that huckster! :)

Hope you get this one resolved to your satisfaction.

Re: Trusted CPU Suppliers Or Ones To Avoid

Double check that what the seller is saying is correct as eBay provides a mechanism for the the seller to send a return label directly to the buyer, tracked or untracked that is the return mechanism you should use rather than arranging the return yourself. Again, I'm assuming here that you paid via ...

Re: Trusted CPU Suppliers Or Ones To Avoid

If you request a return and the seller doesn't respond then after a while the case will be escalated to customer support and you should receive a full or partial refund. Provided you paid using PayPal of course otherwise they'll shrug their shoulders and tell you there's nothing they can do. Check t...

Re: Trusted CPU Suppliers Or Ones To Avoid

Ouch! That's brutal :( I hope you managed to get your cash back?

This thread has been an education, I think I understand the whole messy situation a lot better now.

Re: Trusted CPU Suppliers Or Ones To Avoid

I appreciate that there is no ideal solution to this. I'm happy to take a chance with second hand pulls if the vendor is honest about what they are selling, but not so happy to hand money over to someone selling reprints. To me the whole reprint thing is a joke and I don't want to encourage it out o...

Re: Trusted CPU Suppliers Or Ones To Avoid

Cheers, I had a look at that listing before but was put off by one of the recent feedback comments suggesting that they were reprints. The whole thing is a bit of a minefield! :( Not a large sample size, but I purchased 2 from this eBay listing: https://ebay.us/xy2qW2 Both were tested and ran at 40 ...
