How possible would it be to emulate this chip in a FPGA or CPLD or whatever it is you use?
Surely as time goes on that would be a option that gets cheaper while using original chips is a option which gets more expensive and harder?

Now this is a cool tool, its a click and drop type game maker thing for 8 bit systems and more to be added, it outputs the file in assembly source for that system so I presume you could compile it and run it on a real system if you wanted. 64K memory upgrade for Commodore C16
Interesting modification for the Commodore 16, does not make it a C64 by far but still a good mod, opens up the way to a bigger software choice

Its quite awesome that things like this still exist and get fixed, just think how much we lost already? and how much we are going to lose in the future
