Re: Icky - Progress

In the USA ordering from Best is really quick... two days.. sometimes three. They really have quick shipping! Yeah I'm going to start just ordering stuff to our US office and pick it up whenever I'm over. I was just looking through a few things at Best and they're not _that_ expensive. At least not...

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS

I'm confused by the much higher aggregate CPU result (254%) for the 32MHz one compared to 38 or even 40MHz without waitstates.

Re: How to: recapping the Mega STe power supply

Just a warning to anyone using the Noctua fan! I used the 'silent' slowest fan speed option at first, my PSU blew up and almost destroyed my TT. Since I got my PSU fixed I've stuck the Noctua on the highest setting, as the guy who fixed my PSU told me it overheated. Thanks. I'm indeed running mine ...

Re: How to: recapping the Mega STe power supply

Exactly - it's not -12 and +12 as the new diagrams show.

It does mean that everyone might be running these fans "backwards". I need to look at how I connected mine.

Re: Troed - progress

Troed have you checked what state the processor is in.. is it halted.. held in reset etc. Used dragROM, or the atari drag cart to see if rs232 communications is possible? Checked all the clocks? just looking for some indication of non functional electronics.. What is it drawing for current. With no...

Re: Troed - progress

Apparently I'm using 60/40 - which was a surprise to me. I've redone all PLCC joints but with the same result (which wasn't a surprise though* ;)). Next up I'll verify all the patches are done in the correct place, after that I'll test the ICs in other motherboards and then finally it's time to use ...

What speeds are you using ?
"100%" whatever that means on my Ultimaker 2, I don't really tweak stuff except the amount of infill depending on the strength I'm after.

The dummy cube in 6 mins print (has been 24mins)
10% infill?? :) The ones I made for you were at 100%, so solid. What did I say they took - an hour each?

Re: STE V1.5 32MHz BOOSTER - STATUS

I don't think this makes much sense actually. Constant load for almost an hour should be plenty to show any overclock issues. My other guess was that it's heat related (when I overclocked the Shifter to 64MHz a simple heatsink made a huge difference) but even then it should show up quite quickly. Ar...

Have you measured the dimensions of the dummys? I want to know where they are compared to mine :) You'll need a caliper ..
24.3mm
ABS suffers from shrinkage so you'll probably get a lot closer to 25 with PLA. Also, it doesn't stick as bad ;)
