Bradley BeST was a plastics engineer for Atari. He might know something.
Oh, I wasn't aware of this. That's cool.

Would be great if we could compare two identical systems, one with VME patch and one without patch. I a sure that you can see the differences between the systems.

Re: Thought of the day..

Check out https://octoprint.org when you get a chance. I've got my 3d printer set up with a Raspberry Pi running Octoprint and it makes it so much easier to use and monitor. Especially if you connect a camera to the Pi. This ^ I also have setup my DNS and firewall/router so that I can access Octopr...

Re: Computer distractions

*confused look* Meaning, if you have to do some writing for example (documentation, concepts, etc.) it would be a good idea to do this on the ST. No Internet to distract you, no bells and whistles, no videos, only you and your text. I like that idea :) Just google for "distraction free writing* and...

Re: Atari TT - Bus errors, floppy issues. PARTLY SOLVED ;)

Okay guys, I've finally put her back together. I seem to have solved my problems apart from that strange bus error in the system boot log in Mint.. but all programs and games seem to be running fine. So I am just guessing I might have a software issue rather than hardware. But that can wait another...

Re: Atari TT - Bus errors, advice needed!

Sketch (40).png Ok, so we're looking for C218 and C220. So that tells me that they are (C)apacitors like exxos said and that they are most likely in sheet two of the schematics as they start with 2. Also, your picture shows the VGA connector in their vicinity and your problems were video related. S...

Re: Ordering the Alpha board

OK KiCad doesn't seem to have a autorouter anymore  seems it might be a 3rd party plugin, tried 3 of them , still can't find any autoroute options and programs just seem to be some crappy pcb editor tools.. so give up with that.. not spending endless hours looking for stuff and just going fu...

Re: Wanted: Mach64/32 ISA card

Searching for a Mach64 ISA graphics card. Preferably 4Mb of course, but 2Mb is fine too. Also searching for a Mach32 ISA card if I can't find a Mach64. It's for a Nova/VME board connected to my TT030 as you probably already guessed. Located in Sweden. As you have probably noticed, The few ISA Mach6...

Re: Atari TT - Bus errors, advice needed!

Looking at the schematic, they are all 10K on address and databus.. I would just solder some 4.7K arrays on the bottom of them on the PCB, see if it works before changing them as of course runs the risk of damaging tracks.. Of course its only a guess to your problem, I see problems with bus loading...
