Re: Do fish have nationalities?

do fish have nationalities? Of course they do. Just think about the Australian Reef Shark, Siamese Fighting Fish, African Lungfish or the French Angelfish. Some are even political like the Red Snapper. All fish belong to the EU if that helps  The European Eel surely does :-P

Re: Amiga accelerators available as of Q1/2019?

What they seem to reflect is rarity and the effect of market forces, and not reality. More the the latter appearantly. And a bit of tradition, Amiga hardware has always been on the more expensive side, as I remember. But as long as people are paying these prices, why should anyone offer cheaper? My...

Re: Amiga accelerators available as of Q1/2019?

Interesting, a Vampire 1200 is "very close". I guess there will be a huge demand, and therefore long waiting lists. But if it around 300 EUR like the others, this would be very interesting...

Re: Amiga accelerators available as of Q1/2019?

I managed to get an MTEC 1230 Viper a few years back for a song on eBay, and run it with an 8MB Simm. Recently dropped an FPU in it too, I should probably benchmark it. It's one of these: http://amiga.resource.cx/photos/t1230,2 There's currently an MTEC 1230 on ebay for 200 EUR, A 1240 recently wen...

Amiga accelerators available as of Q1/2019?

Hiya, I just did some research, and I just would like to confirm my findings by some of the Amiga guys around here: Is it correct, that there is currently no one selling new (not vintage) turbo cards (prebuilt or as kit) for the Amiga 1200 with at least 68030? I am under the impression, that TFs car...

Re: Terriblefire Accelerators

Sometimes when reading this, I find it hard to figure out, what drives you guys forward and not be frustrated all the time... And I believe the more "mainstream" retro computing goes, the more idiots are there who not only lack the knowledge but also basic manners. It seems so hard to get, that thes...
