Re: 100MHz Oscilloscope

If you're looking for alternatives, I can recommend the Rigol DS1054Z. It is software upgradeable to 100MHz and has the sampling rate of 1GSa/s. Order whenever... but if its second order, put a note of your previous order number in the checkout notes so the orders will be combined.
Done. Hopefully I didn't forget something ;)

Have an A4000... its a 3010 in a big box case and minus the lovely TV modulator.
Nice :) Although I am more into the keyboard form factor, I have to admit. And I am sure you won't give this away for coffee and chocolate ;)

Any way to stop this? Leave my Atari alone Windows 10 Pro!
Yeah, delete Windows 10 and replace it with Linux in the flavour of your choice ;)

Re: CPU swap if original is surface mounted

IF you have to replace the CPU I'd recommend putting in a socket as I did in the thread that Exxos linked above. You will need regular SMT PLCC sockets for this, where you can clip out the bottom. This way you can easily reach the solder pads which otherwise would be under the CPU respectively the s...
