Re: long button drive reading issues

I tested if the disk is rotating: Insert disk, make the drive rotate. Remove disk, rotate the floppy a little bit. Insert the floppy again. Make the drive rotate. There should be a "schllllick" sound of the notch slipping into the floppy. I heard the sound: yes the floppy rotates. Why I didn't just ...

unknown ST Overscan circuit with 7400

Hi I have a self built circuit in my ST for overscan. I would like to find again how it works. So when I got more infos, I'll add them here. It uses diodes and some AND gates. A toggle switch is used to switch the ST into hardware overscan. The AUTO folder contained software which detects the oversc...

long button drive reading issues

Hi

my long button internal drive is broken. It spins up and moves the head, but does not read the disk.
Is there a chance I could repair it myself?
Or shall I send it to you?
Or just buy a new one from you? And send the old in, in case you want to try to salvage it?

Some cool videos there. How was the waveforms produced ? hacked direct from the YM chip to some software ? ...

Gunstick/ULM from Luxembourg

Hi I'm Gunstick from Unlimited Matricks demo crew. so what brings me here? My never started projects like having an ST on the Internet accepting SNDH files and sending back the sampled mp3 output. There is actually need from musicians who produce on emulators and don't have real hardware. Other proj...
