Did someone check the ground ? Check how stable the ground against the ground on the PSU directly is ? We found very often a lot of mistakes with the ground. For example when the ground is not stable enough then the logic pulls the ground high and when the level of the ground signal goes over a spec...

We use a xilinx cpld and rout all data lines through this but you need a large one. Maybe you can use a simple AND or a OR gate to compine Addresslines to save in/outputs of the cpld!

but 2 pairs of bus drivers on it, one pair in byte swapped mode and one pair in non swapped mode. Then you can switch between this both pair depend on what happens on the bus. We are still working on the Vampire V4 on ST and there is still a issue what we cant find. So maybe your great DiagRom could help to find the reason why it will not start. OK yes its also an idea to use the serial line out!

Is this rom also working in ST High res ? Becazse i have just am SM124 and no TFT what supports the ST LOW/MID resolution.

What i saw in the past is that the Nova is faster with higher Color settings because sometimes the CPU has to recaculate the color depth

Yes its not easy to install, you have to desolder 6 Bugs (4x 74LS74, 2x PAL) Normaly the Speed ist 48 Mhz and this is stable, but i will try to get 54Mhz working but i need faster flash roms , i have just 70ns and i need 55ns or better 45ns then the TT runs with 54Mhz Stable... does someone have 27F...
