Re: Granlunds FrankenSTein

thorsten.otto , I grabbed the latest source package and it seems to be missing a whole bunch of tospatch related stuff. was missing: common/patchdef.h, common/nopatch.h & common/localconf.h So I created empty ones just to get it to continue. (I assume all the missing TP_xx defines I get warnings ab...

Note that it is much more comfortable to compile it on linux, using the cross-compiler of alcyon. That compiles the whole package in about 4sek on my machine.
Ohh, thanks for the tip I'm going to try that!
It takes a little bit more than 4sek inside Hatari :D

Re: Granlunds FrankenSTein

I'm not saying a custom TOS is the way to go, the original does work with cache disabled What was the issue with the caches then ? I am not turning it off here, but I am not running any software at all either currently.. just TOS206... 2.06 doesn't flush it with DMA and Blitter operations so you co...

Re: Granlunds FrankenSTein

Having fun modifying TOS2.06 with the goal of making it "just work" out of the box with the TF536. I'm basically just compiling in the TT-RAM, cache & MMU related stuff from 3.06. Oh, and modified the IDE code to no longer rely on that wire to ACSI pin 10. It boots to desktop from the untethered IDE...

As for programming, you can do this with either the Xilinx programmer or a raspberry pi.
I can confirm that the Digilent JTAG-HS2 works fine using xc3sprog as well :)

Re: Cartridge connector

Yikes! Thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll just keep a lookout for a cheap/broken machine to desolder one from.
It's for a potentially future project to my ST, maybe, so it's not like I'm a rush :)

Cartridge connector

Hey guys, are the Atari cartridge connectors a common part that can be had from the usual sources such as Digikey etc?

Re: TF536 on the ST

Great idea @exxos !
Some kind of post/thread where it's easy to find all the Atari related tools and information on how to get stuff running on the various TOS's and so on :)

Re: TF536 on the ST

Not sure where I should post this but this thread is as good a place as any I suppose? :) TF53x_EmuTOS.zip Inspired by JezC H4 build thread I decided to make a more complete EmuTOS package which is useful with the TF53x and/or if you don't have a 256Kb TOS decoder fitted yet. JezC, you'll get a perf...
