Re: An Atari ST HDMI All Resolution Solution??

Yes, it seems he has deleted all of it, on his YT my (quite innocent but touching the topic, too) comment is the latest.

I have one to spare, unfortunately it's a QWERTZ (German) one.

Re: Credit card vs Debit cards on new webstore poll

Pragmatically speaking, I don't think this poll will give you the answer as majority of your customers wont notice it at all. I think the interesting question is "is the loss of all that credit card people bigger than loss of all the people who wont buy 2% more expensive stuff from me anymore". I wo...

Re: change a bit in a variable ?

Oops, you are right.

It should have been: <input> AND 10111111 <--- clears the 6th bit

Too hot! :)

Re: change a bit in a variable ?

In case that Hisoft Basic doesn't support logical operations (AND, XOR), that could be pretty tricky. :) If it does, then it's easy:

<input> XOR 01000000 <--- flips the 6th bit
<input> AND 01000000 <--- clears the 6th bit
<input> OR 01000000 <--- sets the 6th bit

Re: What is the definition of commercial use?

I guess you're using the "Download as ZIP" option - if you clone the repository with 'git', then 'git log' will show you the author's name and email address.

He seems to be pretty active on AtariAge, following his habit from AF, i.e. spawning offtopic threads with repetitive content.

Re: DEVPAC 68881 required error

EDIT: Also I wonder if the combination of 68040/68881 is even allowed in Devpac, considering that the 68040 has a builtin FPU. I guess it's harmless - there isn't a 68881/2 instruction which isn't allowed on the 040 (natively or via emulation). IIRC there is only one or two opcodes which have the s...

I used to want a cosmosex, but now that the netusbee has proper usb drivers and supports keyboard and mouse I don't see the need for it anymore... Unless there's something I forgot.
Games, maybe? You can use NetUSBee's mouse/keyboard only for system applications.

Btw Ube - great idea, love it!

Re: STE DAC FPGA issues

Personally, I don't find the possibility of breaking the system so terrible if it would be possible to always reuse the original ICs (to gain 100% compatibility). If you decide to use FPGA alternatives then yes, one gain is the ability to run the ST(E) on higher speeds but the far more important gai...
