Re: Life, the universe & everything...Atari (well, mostly)

PhilC Hmm - I tried setting Teraterm to that to start with...but saw no info even when I reset the ST. Do I need to press something on the ST to send any output? Or is it possible the ST isn't getting far enough to send serial data? When I power-up the ST (520 STFM) I see the outer border & an inne...

Re: Life, the universe & everything...Atari (well, mostly)

No overtime for work for a while, so I'm taking that as an excuse for a few minutes of retro time after normal work finishing time but before tea... :D Managed to fix my son's Win10 PC over the weekend so have now picked up an STFM with persistent boot filaure (looks like a RAM fault). Put in the Di...

Re: H4 related chips in my web store ?

@exxos Quite understand, but if you had LS chips I'd rather buy from you than another source to support Atari devel0pment and you. Same for me - where you feel it may make sense, I'd prefer to support you - but not at the expense of a lot more of your time. A difficult balance to be sure but we wan...

Re: H4 related chips in my web store ?

I'm still short of a few bit & pieces for the first H4 (mostly a few odd connectors I think) but still have very little ready for the second one, so knowing what is available via Harry would be useful. I'd personally rather support exxos & the others contributing here (too many others to list indivi...

Re: Cartridge port shenanigans

Probably not cheap...I just got it in kit form (just the two PCBs I think) but that may no longer be available.

There isn't a part number per se on the packaging either...

If I can find it, I can put up some measurements (and maybe someone can do a schematic & layout for a modern equivalent?)

Re: Cartridge port shenanigans

No problem - we all try to help others where we can...some of the others are far more experienced with the actual mods/repairs etc. so the rest of us help as/when we can :D
