Re: Atari Mono and Colour monitors available

Not your fault, just how things turn out sometimes.

Me too. If I can't find any info on the site already then I will start a new thread to cover it.

Thanks anyway.

Re: Atari Mono and Colour monitors available

Ok, it's probably too long since they were offered, as you say. No problem; I will just have to pull them apart & see what might have gone wrong. I'm sure they all worked OK the first time I turned them on (so they survived transport OK) but then failed to power up properly - from memory, I think th...

Re: Atari Mono and Colour monitors available

Hi RJ I don't think I ever heard anything back from your contact about these monitors...if i did then I've missed it & lost the details somehow (old age & general decrepitude...which comes from having teenage kids! Maybe I'd have been better sticking to playing with computers & music   :o...

Re: I have no idea what this PCB is ?

Its a Katy 68 http://www.bigmessowires.com/2014/11/28/68-katy-schematics-and-parts-list Looks interesting... especially the uclinux build for it. I wonder if it was ever ported to the ST or Amiga? Though I'm sure there are many other alternatives out there as well...(writes a mental note to search ...

Got to say that I followed your guide for both approaches as I had the USB to serial lead handy & the USB A to A lead was in transit...both were really useful & easy to follow.

Re: REV H1 information and interest

I'd be very interested in one as well...but I'm not sure my soldering skills are up to the job just yet.

Put me down for one to support the development and I'll hope to either improve my technique or find someone to help sort it. ;)

Re: Hello from the Netherlands

:welcomewave: Interesting experience with the SM124 - I've had two do basically the same thing now (power up fine one day but then fail a day or two later). Strangely, my SM125s (even the one I got with my 1040 STF back in 1987) are all fine & the System Solutions mono screen has also (so far) been ...

Absolutely! A colleague is trying to resurrect an early version of Unix to run on a PDP 11. The source doesn't quite match the working binaries so he's trying to reverse engineer it. :?

Re: I doubt anyone's interested, but...

I think that's great news - I'm trying to resurrect my Falcon at the moment but if I get chance I will try & download it to run on my Mega 4 + Megafile 60...

Glad to hear your Atari's are back in operation again. :D
