Re: exxos blog - random goings on

I am hoping that there's a board still available when we get our bonus (usually in the July pay packet). :coffee:
No chance of getting all the bits I need before then though.

Re: MEGA ST upgrading TOS

Hi Phil, Yes that's one option I'm considering, funds being the biggest issue preventing me this month. If the 2 chip UK TOS 1.04 were in stock then that would be the simplest way to go, but alas there are none ATM. 68k isn't socketed sadly and I'm not yet confident enough to risk adding...

MEGA ST upgrading TOS

I've just opened up my Mega ST4 to see what my options were to upgrade the TOS version (currently 1.02)...mine currently has the two TOS ROMs fitted & the other 4 ROM sites are empty (no sockets present, holes appear to be free of solder). I really want to upgrade it to TOS 1.04 as a minimum (it has...

Re: Flashy Clock - Yet another DEV board

Nice to see this making such progress...how is the s/w for it coming along? I've programmed other Flash memories using this AMD-type programming pattern (Transputers, SHARC DSPs, ColfdFire v2 & various ARM cores) so if I can help, give me a shout! My GEM programming is very rusty though (not done an...

Re: SMT MMU & GLUE dilemma

For me it's more important for the development to continue as fast as you're happy to push on with it, so if the 'Mongrel' is quicker to produce with SMT rather than PLCC parts (or that's how you want to spend your time), then that counts for a lot. I'm really excited about the prospects of the deve...

Re: 1772 floppy chips appearing in stock.

Sounds like you have that requirement covered then. :D

Ours has taken to sitting in the cupboard where the breakfast cereals are kept and miaowing loudly when we open the door for breakfast.

Maybe he's guarding it from the kids, the other two cats & our Malamute...who knows?

Re: 1772 floppy chips appearing in stock.

I have a Siamese who can randomly press keys and knock a mouse about if that would help?

He's also very good at guarding any open boxes you may have!
