Quick question :
Just received a diag cart from Exxos shop, and would like to be sure not to do something wrong. How should i plug it in the port? With the chips at the bottom ?

Plug the cart in with the chips facing upwards so you can see them.

Keep up @PhilC :)

Some versions don't even make out to the PCB stage it may be different concepts or @exxos has another idea :)

@troed - cool to have you at the party on the H4 platform.

Looking forward to seeing your doubleST work on the platform.

Re: How to: recapping the Mega STe power supply

My TT PSU is: C302074-002 (on lid) S/N S20207127A7 (on lid) REV A1 (on PCB) 4 screws, insulated with cloth tape on 5th centre pillar Cut in PCB PSU Metal frame # 63029-289 REV C And no they physically a...

Re: How to: recapping the Mega STe power supply

It's interesting that Icky's REV-A1 did have the track cut while both my MegaSTEs + Pacman's don't have anything to cut at all. @Icky isn't there a chance you have mistaken those two? For instance, you keep referring to yours as "02" while the photo clearly shows it is "A2". Also, I don't think it ...

Re: Smonson's slow H4 build

I got the 34-pin IDC socket in the mail today, installed it and the floppy disk interface is working fine too. So now I have a fully-usable machine (albeit without sound) One thing did change: now I have the jiggly screen effect that other people have had. Which is again good news, because I can at...

Just digging through my photos and found the cut track board. That saved me opening the machines back up again.
