Re: Why do other machines get new cases & not the ST

The main reason being the original molds were never found, and also, there have never been enough people willing to pay for the projects. Thus, so far, ALL the attempts failed. Every attempt I have seen (I think three in the last few years) didn't even get to the point of asking interested people o...

Re: Atari TT / MegaSTE ATX-PSU adapter

Just to let anyone else who reads this forum post later - all my kits are now gone. If you need this kind of thing yourself the files for building your own PCB are in the first post. PS - just make sure you use a proper ATX PSU, not a Pico, as the Pico (any pico) doesn't provide enough power on the...

Re: Steve's H5 A3.14 Build (Chicken Pie edition)

Just an update.. removed / ultrasonic'd the rgb port, re-soldered.. still yellow

I was thinking of de-soldering the r g b matrix chips and putting them back in a different order, to see if the output changes - does this sound like a good idea?

Re: Steve's H5 A3.14 Build (Chicken Pie edition)

@PhilC I might de-solder the monitor socket & put it in the ultrasonic.. I did try the good old wiggle but the colours didn't seem to change. I don't have the test equipment for checking multiplexer output, besides my multimeter.

Re: Steve's H5 A3.14 Build (Chicken Pie edition)

Not sure what to do n...
