Re: Bikerbob's H5 C1 build

OK, I got it all working in my H5C1, software issue was the final hurdle. Now FLOPPY stand offs?? did we determine what size we have here on this board?? because the standard one does not fit.. did we come up with an STL to print ones that fit? Once I get my floppy fit.. I am done with this. Until t...

Re: Flashy clock buyers interests

Because you have ordered it, and I am an H5 user, and because it's a great looking 3v addon. I will put my name in for one as well Exxos. Now.. I will use this, with my Lightning ST, have IDE and USB with flash rom and RTC and 8mb alt ram.. just as I wanted. I will use my STorm & Cloudy in a dif...

Re: Bikerbob's H5 C1 build

The exxos crew are creating their own tos-switcher called FlashyClock, which they'd be able to advise you about. But for support on Lightning/Storm, you really should ask on their forum. I think you are the only person here with that combination. @czietz is probably the man who could offer you supp...

Re: Bikerbob's H5 C1 build

Well, I am almost done.. this would be a very awesome recreated ST - except for Atari's most stupid DB 9 placement. OMG It has to be one of the main reason I love the MEGA, MEGASTE, TT soooo much.. lol.. I have not done the final midi noise on power rail fix, because I have to get to the component s...

Re: Icky's H5C1 build to document all C1 fixes

Got it.. SO if I have no plans to use the MIDI board then the MIDI fixes we just discussed above are not really required then? Good to know. Maybe I do them later if and when I decide to do the midi board. No.. That's not what I said. I said you need to do all the new fixes. Its irrelevant if you u...

Re: Icky's H5C1 build to document all C1 fixes

So you're saying it does nothing? and I can just remove it??? Are you referring to this ? https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=92583#p92583 It mutes the volume of the MIDI board audio channels.. The new fixes correctly Bias the volumes of those links no longer required. Leaving them w...

exxos wrote: Thu Oct 20, 2022 7:21 pmNot sure what your reffering as "old fix", do you mean the wires on the midi header ? It doesn't matter anyway.

Re: Icky's H5C1 build to document all C1 fixes

I now see there is a NEW fix, and it is very much more than I WANT to do. Does the old fix actually fix? or do I need to do the new fix? OR should I just test what I have done, and see where I am at? I am not installing any S2 midi board. You need to do all the new fixes. There are no shortcuts i'm...
