Re: Cyber Legends V3.0 ?? Any takers?

Ive looked at a fair few halls now. Like most things, its all a compromise of one sort or another. i.e. Size, parking, location, cost. This one seems to be as close to ideal as I have found so far. If we can make do without a stage, then I think this could be the one. Remember, If they dont have one...

Re: Cyber Legends V3.0 ?? Any takers?

Ok, found this place, St.James Community Centre, close to central Northampton, but not far from the M1 junction: 2024-02-11_09-27.png Its £34/h on weekends, so a bit steeper than before, but it has 150 capacity and is much bigger than the previous venue. So e.g. From 2-10pm Sat/Sun hire costs will b...

Re: Cyber Legends V3.0 ?? Any takers?

Well I heard back from Moulsoe PH: 2024-02-08_14-23.png So for a decent time (i.e. 2pm till late on a weekend) thats around £280. As for the hall size: (maybe we give each exhibitor a room each! ) 2024-02-08_14-23_1.png Not sure if thats much larger than the last one TBH and they dont have any...

Re: Cyber Legends V3.0 ?? Any takers?

Just bumping this. Unfortunately, Im a bit snowed under with real life issues ATM to have any presence here on the forum lately. However, I did manage to have a look at a few hall options: One that looked very nice was Medbourne pavilion in MK. However, at £40/50 per hour it was a bit too much. Ive...

Re: Fixing my C128D

Want to buy a C128? :P Tempting as it may be, after the house space 'restructure', I only have room for desktop style stuff (other than whats on the top of the stack; the TF536/H5). So that would mean a 128D. Also, rubber_jonnie seems very keen! Besides, all this time waiting to set up my wor...

Re: PhilCs blog / the latest things hes broken(fixed)

I never even knew those Open 128 boards existed @PhilC .

I am doing very well resisting the temptation of getting a C128... well, until we get that 'other' project running properly, anyway! ;)

Re: A sad loss of a forum moderator

Whilst I never got to know him, I remember exxos telling me about him. From what I was told, it seems he had far more than his fair share of bad luck. My (late) condolences go out to Pixieboo30 and the 3 children. I hope that the memory get somewhat less painful as the time slowly passes. So sorry f...
