Slightly shocked at how tiny it is.

That just leaves one parcel out there in the wilderness :)

Re: Stuff and Things.

 Looks good to me. Did you make provision to take it apart for the next battery change? Yep, if it needs another battery it's still just 4 screws and a locking collar and you're inside. There may be a fair bit of hot glue in there, but nothing that can't be undone. Good until the plast...

Re: Stuff and Things.

Well, my parcel purgatory is nearly over :) I'm just waiting on the uKenbak-1 from adwaterandstir (Same folks who do the Altairduino), which has cleared UK customs, but is waiting to go into the Royal Mail systems, and I may have bought a faulty PS2 from eBay... In my defence it was only £15 includi...

Re: Stuff and Things.

All finished: IMG20240314094712.jpg My not entirely accurate but works charging port mod: IMG20240314094816.jpg And the couple of holes added so I can see the charge state - red=charging, blue=full. IMG20240314094752.jpg I didn't take any internal pics as I used rather more hot glue than is pretty.....

Re: A Grand Day Out

I only own a C128D (that has not seen the light of day for a long time) but out of curiosity why did you choose "LumaFix128"? I have been considering an luma pickup board VICdizer128 + RGBTOHDMI? https://www.tindie.com/products/c0pperdragon/vic-ii-dizer/ https://www.tindie.com/products/c0...

Re: General Stuff(tm)

I've just had an offer on my Dad's house. Looks like I'll be up and down to Cornwall in the next month or so finishing clearing the house. Glad to hear you're making progress, I hope it all goes smoothly for you. It's a horrible time dealing with stuff like this and it's such a relief when it's done.

Re: Archie A3000 inbound

A good progress since my last post. Finally did it !: 1.JPG 2.JPG A User Port / Midi Port / Analogue port /Ethernet / IDE podule for my Archie 3000. The IDE podule is not yet fitted at the back of this multi podule. Everything is internal and the top lid closes perfectly. I have to think where to p...

rubber_jonnie wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2024 11:53 am Can you easily see what address is being requested versus what is at the ROMs?
Not without adding wires to the ROM address pins and connecting the logic analyser to those as the ROM address lines are generated by the glue chip and not the main address bus.
Not a fun thing to do...

Re: LC III - Will it ever run?

Indeed. However, it looks like I only really need to concentrate upon the top nibble of the address as the ROM location is 0x40000000-0x4fffffff so that wouldn't generate a bus error if accessed. So, I need to see if the processor is getting a start execution address in that range. If not then eith...
