Re: Hello from Missouri USA
Or the UBE monitor adapter in your store should work as well as the OSSC also has a VGA connector as input. https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/store2/#0107 For the Falcon030, the 3-in-1 monitor adapter can be used: https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/store2/#0146 That would work only for monochrome ...

Re: 3-in-1 monitor adapter soon available in exxos store
I purchases one and it's great. I can get TOS to display 1024x768, but I'm unable to make it work under MINT and XaAES - XaAES throws an invalid screen-type: 1023, I have the video = 26 in the xaaes.cnf file - what's the magic to make this work with XaAES. Thanks! I'm not a MiNT user but people hav...

Re: Hello from Missouri USA
The response time of a monitor is defined as the time it takes for a pixel to change between active and inactive. It's a known issue with older (and even newer) flat screen monitors. Leads to smearing of moving objects on the screen. With that said, frequency conversion could be an issue as well in ...

Re: Hello from Missouri USA
Is the OSSC comparable to something like the XRGB Freimmeister? I'm seriously at a point where I don't care how much it costs to connect my old computers to a modern screen. The OSSC converts scanline by scanline, there's no frame buffer that needs to be built-up, this means there's no lag and the ...

Re: Hello from Missouri USA
For anyone who has the OSSC, what cabling do I need for the Atari systems? What in particular cable do you use? Looking at the back of the OSSC it has a scart connection, so a RGB to Scart cable should work I guess. Or the UBE monitor adapter in your store should work as well as the OSSC also has a...

Re: Hello from Missouri USA
I'm also working on the best solution for (NTSC systems) getting my machines working clearly with modern monitors which led me here to this forum. The OSSC will let you connect your Atari to ANY modern monitor. Expensive yes, but you are no longer limited in your choice of monitor. https://www.vide...

Re: Exxos PSU + CT2B Falcon
You'd be surprised how little difference is there between the CT2 and CT60 when it comes to compatibility. The biggest compatibility killer is naturally TT RAM (developers using BSS as screen/dma buffer I'm looking at you) and then CPU/DSP sync. Things like different PMMU unit, cache management, em...

Re: Exxos PSU + CT2B Falcon
Yes indeed. I have a boosted Falcon myself (Nemesis) but I'd really like to have some FAST-RAM. If Atari just had releaaed the Falcon at 25/50 MHz and with the possibility to add FAST-RAM it would have made such a difference.
