Re: V1.5 booster & Blitterpatch

It should be ok, I would remove the patch and give your machine a good try out first just to be sure.

Re: Future PSU designs

I like Guss assmans idea of making the voltage selection user-solderable, to make sure mistakes aren't made on the user end. Problem is, people get confused easily over what wires to solder where as it is  Though I probably will sell these without primaries connected as it saves me having to ...

I would suggest trying the HC type CPU and see if that helps.. As troed said also, you may need to change the SIL resistors.. what values are on the address and databus on your machine ? (they are located around the CPU & blitter ). All the red ones like on this image.. https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/f...

Re: Future PSU designs

Some scopes on the output under dummy load.. 5V loaded with 2.2R ( 2.27 Amps) 10mV ripple and noise (0.01 Volts) Probably about 5mV ripple alone. 5v______.png 5V loaded with 1R (5 Amps) 6mV ripple & Noise ( 0.006 Volts) 5v2_____.png 12V loaded with 10R (1.2 amps) 18mV ripple and noise (0.018 Volts) ...

Re: 1040STe locks up or bombs out after warming up

Did you recap with one of my kits or some other brands of caps ? Checked for bad joints all over the board ? new switch ?

I would run this program and leave it on for a few hours and see what happens..viewtopic.php?f=25&t=28
