Re: Hi from France.

:welcomewave:

There are already STE 32MHz boosters, in fact currently building up the next 40MHz versions.

Re: SUGGESTIONS

Exxos, what about adding a slot ISA for ET4000 card? Your motherboard is smaller than original one, therefore there is a plenty place for a e.g video card Surely a PCI slot and interface logic would be better as ISA graphics cards are extremely rare and basically non-existent after about 1995. PCI ...

would be cool to have a new STE motherboard which fits in short 520 ST case
Once the ST remake is done, stuff like jag ports and DMA sound can be added easy enough, pretty much will be a STE by the time its done. But needs to be large to have room for the addon ports.

Re: re-Amiga 1200

There does seem to be a fair few "remake" projects about in recent years :) I think as prices have dropped with PCBs in recent times, its opening up new possibilities for things. Of course now we can do custom logic chips for like £5, we can build in all the mods we always wanted :)

CODING CHALLENGE INTRODUCTION

With some passing comments on the STOS FB group, there seems to be a rise in newcomers to STOS lately! I suggested some small coding challenges to get people coding something which would teach some basic programming skills and ultimately be useful in future programs. Each routine will be posted in t...

Re: re-Amiga 1200

Is that the chucky terrible fire sometimes mentions?

Why don't people create the schematics and do a new board ? A lot easier to make circuit changes and mods then. If I copied the STE, id copy DMA issues along with it.. I'm all for starting over.

CODING CHALLENGE #1

A simple routine to get things moving.

Write a simple routine which will move either a sprite, bob, joey etc, in a square in low resolution with a 100pixel movement in each direction.
