CPLDs are known good from DigiKey, MB is freshly recapped,
TF1260 works great on it....
will try to use some EPROMs, maybe this helps

Built two, just to be sure, both behave identically..

Where did you get IS42S16320B- 75TLI ? Are they made up component suffixes from AliExpress? ..Data bus is buffered at the BUS CPLD on the TF1260. Its not on the TF1230. Long ide cables need buffers really. the lengths can cause reflections over the data bus etc. I'm confident if you add a buffer it will work. There is buffered ide for long cables on A600/a1200 IMG_20210921_220855_588.jpg ...
