Re: 1040 STFM resurrection project. Need help
@rubber_jonnie Hi There, Thanks for your comment. Appreciated. Now, as the PSU appears not to be working at all, does anybody of you have any idea looking at the photos what may be the root cause, as I don't think merely replace the caps will bring it to live again. Thanks in advance. Do you have a...

So, my 2nd Temu delivery arrived just now:
I think for the money they are just great Quality is OK and function seems fine, though the mixer requires some more tinkering,

Re: OSI 600D Superboard Build
@stephen_usher I just checked and the build manual for the 600D states:
So 1.5A is pretty OK. With the original build it did have all the 5v regulation circuitry, so that may have added additional load?

Re: OSI 600D Superboard Build
I suppose the last time I looked at an ST it was just shy of 3A with a real FDD running, so not terrible, but like you say, it seems a lotstephen_usher wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 2:09 pm Actually, thinking about it, 1.5A at 5V is only 7.5 watts. It just seems a lot.

Re: OSI 600D Superboard Build
One and a half amps is quite a lot. I wonder what's burning all that electricity. I think, and I'd have to go and check, but the specced PSU in the manual is for 6A, which would give headroom for the 610 to be added. That is with just a simple basic program running that prints out all the available...

I'm wondering how much extra loa...

Re: My experiences with TEMU
OK, so my first Temu package arrived, 4 solar lights for the garden and 4 4GB micro SD cards. Just under £30 delivered, and whilst the products are actually ok, value wise, nothing spectacular that I'd run around saying "You must shop at Temu it's fabulous value". I can say that the 4GB ca...
