Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)
Ordering parts is just a PIA ATM, managed to get all of them except the memory, I have a spare 536 that is not in use so I will recycle the memory from there. I read previously that 330 / 536 memory should be fine, so will fit the recycled MT48LC16M16A2P-6A_G and see how it goes. Now all I need to d...

Could also build a few, if time allows and the parts are available, will be sending an order to JLC in the next couple of weeks so will add these gerbers in as well

Re: Amiga 1200, anything available?
Saw a new thread on Amibay yesterday where @alenppc was now selling TF1260s in the Amiga hardware section, so you could also try contacting him there.

Re: TF1260 stuff
Very happy TF1260 user :D never even blinked at the price, if the whingers had any idea of the real cost of a technical man-hour they would realize this is really just a gift at the asking price. There is always some cheap bast$%# that will argue the price with NFI of the costs involved in producing...

Re: FS: 27C400 USB EPROM emulator (iss D) batch 2
Only just got around to installing these, can't praise the product or the seller enough, superb comms, very fast turnaround, and the emulators are just a pleasure to use. Super simple to program and worked out of the box - thumbs up on including diagrom as the default! +1 Bought my 2 from Chris's w...

Re: Meanwell
The RPT-60B (Mouser No. 709-RPT60B) maybe a better option designed for both Medical and Industrial applications so hopefully better adherence to the specifications. I have not tried it, but did see an article a while back that it had been successfully used as an Amiga PSU.

Had to smile at that line, have had quite a few of those announcements over the last 35 odd years.terriblefire wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 10:41 pm I was mid flow sorting that when it was announced we were moving house.
Interesting comparisons, highlighting what most of us already knew, an excellent affordable 060 card

Re: The wrong sort of terriblefire in my CD32
I have had U36 fall over on my own CD32, it is also a 4066 (bilateral switch), which switches the RGB signal to external. It did not go the terrible fire / smoke route, just the video was so dim, could only see outlines. Maybe the 4066's are reaching EOL, or these ICs have just been Commordored

Re: TF536 Firmare Update RC3
That looks like a much easier way, I'll just get one of those. Thank you. Please be aware that you will most likely need a 32 bit windows to run the Xilinx ISE (14.1) and the programmer drivers. Even if you have an old WinXP machine it will be fine. Another possibly software option, if I remember c...

Re: Why do people think that Hyperion are the blockers to Open Source AmigaOS?
I am scratching my head, and thinking would it not make simply common sense to support organizations or individuals for there contributions towards a hobbyist community. The commercial footprint for these products TBH is basically hardly visible. The words that come to my mind when any new product s...
