Evilbay search broken in Chrome ?

Was looking on evilbay for a LED backlight, and it shows the number of results found, but nothing else, aside from sponsored items. It only seems to happen in Chrome though. Opera and FF seems to work fine. Capture.PNG Further down the page is just the page numbers and not much else. 2.PNG Anyone el...

Re: exxos blog - random goings on

If anyone wants a prototype board, then happy to give them away for free if anyone does a order, I can just pop one in box. I have about 9 PCBs with birdseed. The alignment is a bit off on the RGB transistors, but it's not so bad anyway. Boards are still useable. You just mostly need header pins and...

Re: LarryL’s blog - creating an ATX version of the Phoenix H5

I think mono might work without the video DAC being fitted? I had to check on that myself as I couldn't even remember.. At least on the H5 MONO is buffered and goes to the RGB port as a original machine. But I don't know how closely LarryL followed that circuit. The DAC is switched between RGB / MO...

Re: LarryL’s blog - creating an ATX version of the Phoenix H5

WTF...another wrong footprint  Video DAC should be PQFP44 with 10x10mm 0.8mm pitch - according to KiCAD library (all QFP44 have these dimensions in KiCAD) We all been there   pretty much every lib in Eagle is wrong  I have read somewhere, that a PCB without some bodge wires i...

Re: DFB1X Falcon booster buyers interests

DFB1X pre-orders will be shipped today. There are now several on standard stock also. I've removed the 40MHz version from the store, it doesn't seem anyone wanted that. So the whole batch (aside from bare bones boards) went to 50MHz capable chips. iluvator can you please check your emails. It looks ...

Re: ST536 in a Mega ST4

I'm going to build a second one and order new parts next week. I'll order a smaller tip too to solder the PLD. I suggest putting solder on the PLD pads first with flux, make sure they all plated with solder. Then use solder wick (with flux) and get the solder off again, make sure all the pads of fl...

Re: ST536 in a Mega ST4

As I said before, IDE causing a crash can only really be false IDE access when there isn't supposed to be one. Likely a bad solder joint on your PLD,. I assume one of the address lines or IDE control lines.

Re: WANTED - 1MB 100/120ns simms 30 pin

Just tell me what you want and I'll send them - but I don't have full sets of the 1MB ones :( Looking again there are 5x 120ns 1mb Simms. So that should be enough to test what I want I think.. I've been looking around the internet and there is basically nothing about unless I want to pay $50 a stic...
