Re: Wanted: Apple Quadra/Centris 610

Ok I've changed my mind. I forgot I sold all my old Apple stuff previously, I used to have a USB Wombat adapter which is very expensive and hard to find usually. Also don't have other accessories like the video > vga etc. I sold all my Apple stuff when I got rid of this beauty a while back: https://...

Re: Wanted: Apple Quadra/Centris 610

Well yeah actually I have, but it's not the only reason I want one. I've always been looking for one because it's good for running A/UX (as long as it has a full 040 in it) I've often wanted to tinker with A/UX. Running it on an 040 machine would be rather nice.

I've never used a Raspberry Pi before and I guess it shows...

Thanks again.
Wow, you really are jumping into the deep end! :)

Re: Falcon in need of help

Sorry as far as I know there isn't anyone doing this kind of work anymore. I used to do it, but stopped basically due to lack of time. I don't know if it's still true or not, but I heard some people getting re-caps done here: https://www.mutant-caterpillar.co.uk/shop/

PacificState wrote: Sat Nov 18, 2023 8:17 pm Thanks for the confirmation - the search for stability goes on, I guess.
I don't know if it helps, but when my ct60e stopped detecting the sdram, it was dry solder joins on the CPLD (and other surface mount chips) But the ct60 isn't the same as the ct60e, so I dunno if this might be your issue.

Re: Hatari on Atari

There's a better alternative, agranlund created a kind of virtual machine emulator. So it uses the real 68k CPU, no emulation needed. It runs on Mint I think.

@hunsra your monitor will tell you if it's not syncing, there's no point in guessing.
