I may see if I can find my STE with the DAC fix boards in place while I'm looking at audio faults. But I'm not sure I'll find anything new. But never know.. It will help a lot to see what's going where now we have a STE board layout.

AFAIK it only has one fixed mode which Closure uses. But something is changing between powerups (which its now not doing) but it may be one of those things which doesn't matter in terms of software running anyway.fenarinarsa wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 7:55 pm I thought that STE had only 1 wake-up mode by maybe @troed knows more about this.

With the CPU fitted, /HALT goes high on power up or reset, then drops low, so the /HALT seems to be coming from the CPU, which would be the case if it couldn't boot.
