Re: My workshop
Oh, clever. I always thought the original 520ST looks great but the reality of all those power bricks must be a nightmare. Here's what my cave looked like a few weeks ago, room a mess right now as I'm moving furniture and boxes around. Usually the mega wears a multisync. https://s22.postimg.cc/yagll...

Re: SUGGESTIONS
Been thinking a while about the ram being a falcon board. Not sure that's a good idea, I mean I get the basic principle - all falcs are 14mb these days it seems so why not recycle - but not sure that these 4MB boards are going to be all that plentiful anymore after 25 years of being chucked in the b...

Re: Hi from Holland
You're lucky to find an SC1224 I never ever manged to find one in the last 10 years There's actually another one for sale over here in Holland since august 15, on a site called Marktplaats.nl (the Dutch version of Craigslist or whatever it is called in your country) but the guy never responds to me...

MSTE with NOVA ATI MACH32 graphics card
After a lot of faffing I've got a working graphics card using Frank Lukas' Nova board. Ati Mach32, 1MB, apparently quite a good PC graphics card from old ISA days. Benchmarked here all at 16Mhz, Cache on. One with NVDI and one without. I believe that with NOVA, NVDI acts only as a GDOS, so there's p...

Re: MEGA STE and graphics cards
Finally, now the correct files, it works. Probably this thread is the only place online to get working drivers for nova+mach32. So at least the answer is here for people to find on google now.

Re: MEGA STE and graphics cards
Note that the little ATI MACH32 with 1MB and a 85Mhz Bt RamDAC can only work with 2 or 256 Colors. 15 or 16bit Color do not work. The card work only maximal to 1024x768 Pixel. When you upgrade the card to 2MB DRAM the Driver will see the card only as 1MB card, so 2MB do not work. mach32_Bt_RamDAC.j...

Re: MEGA STE and graphics cards
I just notice MSTE_M32.zip is missing MENU.PRG I think, okay, must be the problem. Go look for it in other NOVA driver zips on that site you told me to get it from. Stumble though google translate, first menu option tells me "no resolutions" exit MENU.PRG, get same trash screen as image ab...
